Social Nets. (networks)

These are Web applications that allow us to connect people with friends and even make new friends. They also allow users to share content, interact and create communities around similar interests. Examples about this social nets are: facebook,fotolog,myspace,twitter,tuenti,etc...

This are some of the most actuals social nets but they've already exist from 1997.

The advantages of this type of networks are that you can comunicate with others without spending money, in addition you can know new people,to share works, hobbies, opinions...

Also they can give you information about subjects very varied and I think, that in this type of networks, you can create your own personality and be another totally different person too.

Finally, I consider that you can be more sincere when being writing in a computer and you aren't seeing the face of the other person.

The disadvantages are that the adolescents (those who use this type of social networks more) happen most of the time in them, and they take off it to the study.

Another disadvantage is that sometimes the expressions are misinterpreted and isn't a good communication. I think that networks aren't controled because many young people, that can't be there, have one social net. Finally, I want to observe, that people sometimes, put too much information, for example, she raises private photos, and all this when you are older, at the time of choosing a work, influences negatively.

In my opinion, have a social net it's cool but you have to be careful.

Bullying

Now we start the school and I want to talk about one thing very important; BULLYING.

For a lot of people (children , young people,(girls and boys), etc..) starts a nightmare when they start the school...

Bullying is characterized by an individual behaving in a certain way to feel like superior in front the other person .

To intimidate, to force another person to do something it is the bullying.

The Intimidation others can be physical or verbal.

Girls use more verbal than pysique.

They tend to use the physical intimidation or the threats, without them his victims matter.
Normally, these cases are given between children from 10 to 16 years.

Sometimes bullies will pick on people bigger or smaller than their size,

weaker than they.

Many programs have been started to prevent bullying at schools with promotional speakers.

The effects of bullying can be serious and even fatal.

The Victims of bullying can suffer a lot of problems like : loneliness, depression, iety (for example).

I can't do bullying another person, because it seems to me horrible to ill-treat a person physical as psychologically, and I think that those that they do bullying have a very small heart .

LOVE ME IF YOU DARE
(JEUX D’ENFANTS)

Well, there’s nothing more to start school, and I have to finish BLOGS , so , This summer I went to French but I don't want to talk about this I want to talk about a French flim because I haven’t got anything interesting to tell, then I’m goingo to talk about a French film, that I saw with my friends and I loved it.

The original name is “Jeux d’enfants”, but in English is “love me if you dare”. The director is Yann Samuell and the Main actors are; Guillaume Canet (Julien) y Marion Cotillard(Sophie). This film is making at year 2002 and is a romantic comedy.

Julien and Sophie met when they were children, and as they were living a bad situation, he because his mother was dying, and she because all the children torture hers, and they say hers “dirty Polish”, Julien and shopie get together and they start a game that it will keep them amused, for forget all bad things.The game that they create is called “truth or dare” and it treat that they have to put challenges to the other, and something very involved, and they have to keep, if they say DARE.They grow and they‘re still together, thank the game that they create. But every time the challenges are more complicated, and entail more responsability because they aren’r children.The game is a mask for hide that really they fell, that they are in love, because is easier be friends, and live of a game, that they confront the reality.

Mouline Rouge

I've seen this movie many times, but I've chosen mouline Rouge because is one of my favourite films :D

The movie shows the life of christian, a young man who lives in Paris.

Christian goes to Paris beacuse he wants to write love stories.
He tries to establish himself in the Bohemian culture.

Chrstian decides to search for a job in moulin rougue, a famous cabaret.

But when he arrives he meets Satine, a pretty girl and he falls in Love with satine.

Harold Zidler is the owner of the cabaret and Christian helps him with the show, entitled "Spectacular Spectacular".
Harold arranges a private meeting between Christian and Satine.
But the same night Harold had arranged Satine to spend the night with the Duke who is looking to invest in the cabaret.
But Harold didn´t realize that Christian and the Duke weren't the same person, Harold tought that Christian was the duke and arraged a private meeting and after he discovers that Christian isn't the Duke.

Satin and Christian lived a very enthusiastic history of love, although Satin must be with the Duke..

And they hide their love, but the Duke discovers the love between Satin and Christian and everything changes.

Christian was in love and he tells Satin that he wants to be all the live with her and he propose Satin to go far away moulin rouge, Paris, everything .. together alone.

Satin is too in love and she says YESSSSSSSS!, but when she was making the suitcase Harold appears and says Satin that she is dying...

Satin loves Christian a lot and she doesn't want to hurt him, and she lie saying :

- Christian I'm not in love with you..

Christian doesn't understand anything.

Christian called many times Satine but she doesn't respond.

In the end when is the opening night of "Spectacular Spectacular", Satine was very weak and she dies in Christian arms...

U R B A N T R I B E S

Urban tribes are groups of people who have the same habits,do the same activities and for example go to similar places to be together because they go with the people that are similar to them. They normaly listen to the same music or they wear the same clothes.

Emos:
Emo stands for emotional. Instead of an angry, hard-core way of expressing one-self, Emo has taken a new role in the twentieth century.
From music with strong emotion and feeling, unlike hard rock, this has emerged as an alternative way to let feelings be known.
Black clothes are teamed with bright colours. Emos will often be seen in clothing such as Punkyfish, Vans and Atticus Clothings (Blink 182's own clothing line). The term ‘emo’ is stereotyped with tight jeans on males and females alike, a long fringe to hide behind brushed to one side of the face or over one or both eyes.
Bands are mostly American and musically accomplished. It is part hardcore punk, part melodic indie. Favourite bands include Fall Out Boy, Alkaline Trio and Funeral For A Friend.

Grungers:
This is a Tribe whose ideology centres on Kurt Cobain. It is a label given by others to those who dislike conforming to major brand names or trends, have any of their own opinions, listen to music they want to listen to rather than what everyone tells them to.
Grungers will usually be seen in battered jeans, baggy jumpers, and sleeves pulled down with holes through which thumbs are poked. A grunger will wear clothes that are comfortable and do not pay much attention to appearance. Hair is usually bleached blonde and shoulder length, messy.
Skaters are very diffrent to grungers:
Skaters:
Skaters are one of the few tribes to be defined by something other than music. A resurgence of an 80’s urban tribe, they are a younger hybrid of the grunger and the metaller. A skater is usually under 20, lives outside of central urban areas, and is passionate about bands no-one else has heard of, wear big baggy shorts, chains and have piercings.
Music tastes include British hip hop/breakbeat like Roots Manuva, Infinite Livez, and Plump DJs. Tribe members also listen to indie, grunge and punk, electro, trance and metal.

For trendies, looking good is all that matters in life.
It is all about vintage for trendies. One-off pieces are key combined with accessories from Topshop, New Look, Primark and H&M. Fashion heroes are Gwen Stefani and Kate Moss. Men are often seen in denim jeans, loose, hanging shirts and styled hair. Women can be seen also in denim jeans and anything with a designer logo.
Likes stretch from better known acts such as The Kooks, Franz Ferdinand to pre-breakthrough acts like The Gossip and Datarock. Trendies are often seen reading Glamour or Vogue magazine to find out the latest fashion trends.

Wiggers:
A slang term referring to white people emulating urban African Americans and urban black British and Caribbean culture. A wigger tries to imitate black American hip-hop.
Members of this tribe will often be wearing a backwards cap, baggy tops - often basketball jerseys or the label Fubu, and lots of jewellery. Sacha Baron Cohen’s character Ali G can be strongly associated with making a mockery out of wiggers.
The wigger will often have tattoos, usually bearing the name of a dead rapper or the slogan of a rap group. The terms ‘whack’ and ‘for shizzle’ are commonly used. Music artists Eminem and Vanilla Ice have in the past been accused of being part of this tribe.

ISRAEL - GAZA CONFLICT

INTRODUCTION_

The conflict began on June 24, 2006, when in light of ongoing Qassam rocket attacks on Israeli cities, Israeli operatives seized suspected Hamas members Osama and Mustafa Muamar in the Gaza Strip. On June 25, a Hamas attack in Israeli checkpoint resulted in the deaths of two Israeli soldiers and the capture of Israeli Corporal Gilad Shalit. In turn, Israel launched Operation Summer Rains on June 28. Israel maintains that it mobilized thousands of troops in order to suppress Qassam rocket fire against its civilian population and to secure the release of Corporal Gilad Shalit. It is estimated that between 7,000 and 9,000 heavy Israeli artillery shells have been fired into Gaza since September 2005, killing 80 Palestinians in 6 months. On the Palestinian side, approximately 1,000 Qassam missiles are believed to have been fired into Israel. Israel has stated that it will withdraw from Gaza and end the operation as soon as Shalit is released. The Palestinians say the assault is aimed at toppling the democratically elected Hamas-led government and at destabilizing the Palestinian National Authority, citing the targeting of civilian infrastructure such as a power station and the captures of government and parliament members.

The State of Israel was proclaimed on the 14th of May, 1948, in accordance with international legality and the partition plan of the UN (1947) dividing the Spanish protectorate in Palestine, Jordan and Israel today,, with 77% of the territory to the Arabs ( that included the current territories of Palestine) and 23% for Jews leaving Jerusalem International Zone. The Jews accepted, but not the Arabs.
The regular armies of Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon and Iraq invaded it, forcing Israel to defend their country. In what became known as the War of Independence of Israel. Israel not only won the war, but others extended their territory of 8,000 km2 to 21,000 km2 in a legitimate war of self-defense against the Arabs.

Barack Obama, who takes over as U.S. president from George W. Bush on January 20, broke his silence about the violence in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, calling the loss of civilian lives in Gaza and in Israel a "source of deep concern for me." Obama added he would adhere to his principle that only Bush should be the voice of U.S. foreign policy at this time but he would have plenty to say after his inauguration in two weeks.

On his way home from school, Shaun chances upon a non-racist skinhead (which includes two Jamaican members),"Shaun" immediately takes to "Woody" as a surrogate father figure and is soon admitted in to the gang. Admission means parties, a new girlfriend (Rosamund Hanson) a new haircut, a new Ben Sherman shirt, and a new pair of boots. As well as a whole new group of friends who treat Shaun as an equal.
All seems well in this quiet English town until one incident changes all of their lives about midway through the film. This is the return of "Combo" from 3 years in prison. "Combo" is the former leader of this gang and wastes no time trying to re-establish his dominance in a direct confrontation with "Woody". "Combo" has become a racist during his 3 years in prison and views skinheads as the prefect front line soldiers in the National Front's (an extremely conservative political party) war to keep England for "Englishmen."

MICHELANGELO

- Michelangelo di lodovico Buoanarroti Simoni (MArch 6,1475- febraury 18, 1564), he was born al Caprease , a little village in The Republic of Florence , Italy.

WILLIAM OCKHAM

- William of Ockham (c. 1287-1347) is, along with Thomas Aquinas and John Duns Scotus, among the most prominent figures in the history of philosophy during the High Middle Ages. EL INTERNADO

"El Internado" (Boarding School) is a Spanish television drama thriller focusing on the students of a fictional boarding school in a forest (" La Laguna Negra"), where teenagers are sent by their parents to study.

Countable nouns are things that we can count.

For example: "door".

We can count doors, we can have one, two, three or more doors.

Here are some more countable nouns:

A noun can be countable or uncountable.

Countable nouns

Countable nouns can be "counted", they have a singular and plural form .

Add (s) to make a countable noun plural

Uncountable nouns

Uncountable nouns cannot be counted. This means they have only a singular form. It also means that they do not take a/an before them.

For example:

Uncountable(there is no a/an or number with uncountable nouns)

example: Rice/I eat rice every day. (not I eat a rice every day.)

There is no plural form for an uncountable noun

example: rice/I eat rice every day. Rice is good for you.

To make uncountable nouns countable add a counting word, such as a unit of measurement, or the general word piece. We use the form "a ....... of ......."

example: Rice=a grain of rice/ Water=a glass of water/ Rain=a drop of rain/ Music=a piece of music

You can use some and any with uncountable nouns.

-I usually drink some wine with my meal.

-I don't usually drink any water with my wine.

You only use much and little with uncountable nouns.

My Holidays

- This summer I was with my father June and July.
I was in "pobla de farnals " many weekend , when we want.
and I met many new friends in the urbanization where my father lives ,they were very nice and funny.
I was very nice with my father! :)
With my mother I was Agust and September.
On 12, Agust I traveled two weeks with my mother and my sister to Ibiza.
I went with my mother, my sister and with Marisa, Alberto(Eso1) and Carmina (5th).
When we arrived we were in a smaller apartment although with view the sea by the terrace and later we changed to an urbanization with the greatest house where I became some friends.
we went in boat to formentera where with one zodiac approached us the beach! , slight prettier water. I LOVE FORMENTERA :)

When we were in Ibiza we met Natalia Millán, Elsa in a serious of "antena 3" (El Internado) we met Natalia because she is sister-in-law of Marisa. we was brilliant with her and her daughter Violeta of 14 years ,like me. I`m very nervious when I met her because I love "El Internado" ,it enchanted to met her .

Is a really likeable girl. :)

When I arrived at valencia I finished the homeworks that I had left (that wasn´t many, don´t think bad xD')This year I have had very good summer, but now we have returned to the school, so there will be to concentrate itself because we go to eso 3!!!!

WILL AND GOING TO

Simple Future has two different forms in English: "will" and "be going to."

They often express two very different meanings.

WILL - [will + verb]

Examples:
You will help him, will you help him ?, you won't help him

The last Wednesday 14 th, my class ESO 2 went to Germany to do an exchange with the other people with the same age and of the diffrents countries.

the families recibe us and we stay in one house where we practise,learn and speak English with they.

We met in a school and there we make activities like soocker,dancing,fashion and cooking.



They separated to us by worckshops and we went to visit the city in bus,also we make a disco and in the free time when we go in the afternoons with the families we go to wittmund city.

We stay in Wittmund for three days and after we go all of my class to be in Cologne for one night and two days ina hostal.

We was very well because the hostal are very,very good not like spanish hostal.

In Cologne we go to visit the Cathedral and a Chocolate factory and we go and we went and we returned to Spain all together in airplane.

The history is about a tipical Indian's event (arranged married),one girl( Aiditi ) who meet her husband fiveteen days ago her wedding. She loves other boy, but he doesn't divorced with his wife to be with her.
This history is a tipical preparations of arranged weddinngs,In this film there are several love stories; the girl protagonist with the married man, the love between the boy who preparing the wedding and the servant..
The Indians films have a lot of musical scenes where the people dance like this film.

The weddings are preparate by the parents of the girl and boy.The institution of marriage in India is considered a very important.Arranged marriages, which are so the norm here in India, always seem to faze the non-Indians. One simply can't fathom how practical strangers can be married to each other and settle down for a life together. No matter how westernised our country may have become, arranged marriages are still how a majority of the weddings in India.

The similar : the celebration is the same because one becomes a party with the guests and with the boyfriends.

Bollywood is the informal term popularly used for Mumbai-based Hindi-language film industry in India. Bollywood is often incorrectly used to refer to the whole of Indian cinema it is only a part of the Indian film industry.
